Area students earn UI honors

The University of Idaho Office of Alumni Relations honored 55 students at its annual Awards for Excellence dinner Dec. 9.

Students were selected based on outstanding academic success, leadership and have demonstrated career and professional preparation. Leadership may be demonstrated in the classroom, laboratory, campus and in the community. The awards are presented to undergraduate seniors, third-year law students and graduate students.

This year’s area award recipients are:

Undergraduates

• Zoë Ball, art education, College of Art and Architecture, Hayden;

• Joshua Brands, accounting and marketing, College of Business and Economics, Post Falls;

• Nathan Clemans, finance and operations, College of Business and Economics, Coeur d’Alene;

• Cydnie Gray, studio art and design, College of Art and Architecture, Rathdrum;

• Cody Magee, fine arts in studio, College of Art and Architecture, Blanchard;

• Lauren Smith, dance/exercise science and health, College of Education, Post Falls;
