2016 Bonner County EMS Ambulance Bonner County, Idaho NOTICE OF SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT This serves as notice that the Board of County Commissioners intends to contract with ASAP Off-Road Specialty Vehicles for the sole procurement of a MedStar off-road ambulance. This sole source procurement is in accordance with Idaho Code 67-2808(2)(a)(ii), and approved by the Board Bonner County Commissioners on the 6th day of December, 2016. The reason for the sole source procurement from ASAP Off-Road Specialty is they are the only company in the world that builds an off-road ambulance that features a fully enclosed patient compartment that will fully meet Bonner County's needs. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Commissioners will hold a public hearing at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2017, in the 3rd Floor BOCC Meeting Room, Suite 338 of the Bonner County Administration Building, 1500 Highway 2, Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following: File AM148-16 - BCRC Title 12 - Text Amendment - Procedures - Bonner County is proposing to amend Chapter 2, Title 12, Bonner County Revised Code (Procedures) to amend sections 212, 213, 234, 236, 237, and 262. Some of these amendments are housekeeping in nature: add Planning Director to list of those who can initiate zone changes or amendments; clarify hearing examiner where appropriate; update variance standards to comply closer with State Code; allow conditions where applicable to ensure compliance; limit ability to reapply for same property or application; and, update administrative exceptions. The Planning & Zoning Commission at their regularly scheduled public hearing on December 1, 2016 recommended approval of the changes to the Board of County Commissioners. Any person needing special accommodations to participate in the public hearing should contact the Bonner County Planning Department at (208) 265-1458 at least 48 hours before the hearing. Written statements exceeding 1 standard letter-sized, single-spaced page must be submitted to the planning department no later than 5 days prior to the public hearing.
