CLARK FORK — Tessa Sutton scored 10 points to lead Clark Fork, which struggled offensively in a 45-27 loss to Wallace in North Star League girls basketball Tuesday night at Clark Fork High School.

Lily Simko led the Wampus Cats (1-7, 1-2 NSL) with 11 rebounds, and Brooke Stevens had a nice all-around game with eight points, five assists and five steals, but the Cats managed just nine points in a cold shooting second half.

“We weren’t putting it in the hoop,” lamented Cats head coach Mark Stevens, whose team trailed by just six at half. “They just kind of pulled away.”

Clark Fork is at Selkirk in a nonleague clash today, before a more than two-week break in the schedule.
