Bulldogs finish 3-2 at Best of the West Duals

PASCO — Owen Stebbins went a perfect 5-0 to lead the Bulldogs to a 3-2 record during the two-day Best of the West wrestling duals, which ended Wednesday in Pasco, Washington.
The Bulldogs split duals on Wednesday, suffering a tough 35-33 loss to Pasco before bouncing back to beat Washougal 43-27 after going 2-1 the opening day. Despite missing both 220 and 285 pound wrestlers and having to forfeit the weights, the Bulldogs more than held their own.
After two big tournaments, the Bulldogs will rest up over the holidays before returning to action Jan. 4 at Coeur d’Alene.
