Slow second half costly as Bulldogs fall to Knights
SPOKANE VALLEY — It was a familiar refrain for the Bulldogs, who played strong in the first half before tiring down the stretch, falling 58-46 on the road to East Valley in nonleague boys basketball on Thursday night.
Taran McLaughlin led the Bulldogs (1-6) with 12 points, and Robbie Johnson and Ryan Roos each scored nine. After trailing by just one at half, the Bulldogs were outscored 31-20 in the second half.
Jeremiah Hillard scored 14 and Ale-Dre Bracey added 13 for the Knights (4-5) of the Great Northern League.
