'Super Kids' dates are announced

SANDPOINT — If you enjoyed participating in the Super Kids Preschool Playgroup in November and December, or are interested in participating for the first time, now is the time to register for the next session.

Session 2 will be held Jan. 5-26 on Thursdays from 9-11 a.m. at Community Hall, 204 S. First Ave. The class fee is $12 per child, per month, or $4 drop in rate per child. Register at Sandpoint Parks and Recreation, located in City Hall at 1123 Lake St.

Children aged 0-5 are invited to join the Super Kids Preschool Playgroup with Jessica Heart. Hart has been an early childhood educator for the past 10 years and has a strong passion for working with children. This playgroup will provide an opportunity for children to socialize with others in an enriching environment that supports communication, social-emotional development, cognitive development and fine and gross motor skills.

Activities will include: arts and crafts, music and movement, sensory exploration, imaginary play, interactive games, building and constructing, etc.

Registration for Session 3, which Feb. 2-23; and Session 4, March 2-30; is also available at this time.
