Setting the record straight on projects

I’m responding to the Jan. 26 letter from Jeremy Conlin who misrepresented my remarks at a Dec. 8 Idaho Conservation League event. His letter was both confusing and inaccurate.

I did not state that ICL’s goal is to “reach a goal of 200 ppm of CO2.” I did explain CO2 acts as an insulating blanket around the world and levels of CO2 have increased from the pre-industrial levels of 278 ppm, to more than 390 ppm in the past decade. Largely human-caused, these levels have contributed to global climate change.
