LAKE PEND OREILLE SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 84 NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the Board of Trustees of Lake Pend Oreille School District No. 84, Bonner County Idaho, for furnishing the following Service to provide VOIP Services. Award of this proposal is contingent upon the approval of funding from the Schools and Libraries Universal Service Administrative Company. The successful bidder agrees to bill and receive the discounted portion of the payment for the provisions of goods and services described herein directly from the Universal Service Administrative Company ("USAC"), and/or the Schools and Libraries Division ("SLD"). The Lake Pend Oreille School District is requesting proposals for service to provide new wireless access points and managed PoE gigabit switches. The wireless access point will be 802.11ac compliant. The new wireless system must be able to accommodate our ongoing 1 1 iPad and Chromebook initiatives in the Lake Pend Oreille School District. The Lake Pend Oreille School District is requesting proposals for service to provide a high speed Wide Area Network (WAN) solution that will ensure reliable and secure transmissions of data, video, voice, etc. The LPOSD is seeking dark or lit fiber optic network services that will connect outlying sites to the Lake Pend Oreille School District Office. All quantities are approximate. The service provider shall handoff a minimum 1Gbps Fiber connection between each site and the District Office with the option to increase the speed over a proposed multi-year contract. The contract derived from this RFP will be entirely contingent upon full funding form the federal E-Rate program-SLD (Schools and Libraries Division) and the Lake Pend Oreille School District; and may or may not be undertaken at the sole discretion of the District. In addition, the district will require the awarded service provider be a participating E-Rate service provider and maintain a valid SPIN (Service Provider Identification Number).
