Much work remains to ensure all feel welcome

When the City Council made the decision to withdraw the proposed resolution on Jan. 20, they did so as they felt it was dividing the community. They have instead reaffirmed an earlier resolution “promoting the rights and dignity of all citizens … without fear of harassment, prejudice or denial of basic civil rights.”
