PRIEST RIVER — What does community involvement look like? It looks like support for local events and fundraisers. It looks like giving time, money and providing resources to every aspect of our rural life from lawn mower races to advocating for a women’s shelter. It looks like supporting school events, hospice and soup kitchens.

Community involvement looks like Aerocet, Inc. And, to recognize this company for all they do, the Priest River Chamber of Commerce presented Aerocet with its annual President’s Award.

But, scratch under the surface and there is a tremendous contribution that Aerocet makes to Priest River that many people may not realize. Start with its growth. This company that designs and manufactures composite floats and cargo pods for aircraft, started in 1987 with 33 employees now employs 67 and will possibly grow to 100 in the near future.
