Board is undermining public input, process

A draft of Title 12 Land Use Regulations was published in 2006 which updated the nearly 30-year-old code. The vounty held several informational workshops and public hearings. The chapter on environmental standards, particularly waterfront issues, received the most attention in part because of an anonymous letter mailed to waterfront property owners that used scare tactics and disinformation to upset the public.
