Sundquist signs to play football at Montana Tech

SANDPOINT — With two Frontier Conference schools pursuing him, Sandpoint senior Paul Sundquist visited Montana Tech in Butte recently and the decision became much easier.

This week Sundquist signed a letter of intent for a scholarship to play football next season at Montana Tech, where he plans to play linebacker and study applied health at the NAIA school.

“It’s kind of a sigh of relief, I have a plan for the next four years,” said Sundquist, who was also heavily recruited by the College of Idaho. “The more I think about it, the happier I am.”
