Banning oil would create sticky situation
The consequences of banning oil seem unimportant to those activists who dwell on the dangers of oil trains. Though there is indeed a danger, so there was danger when the settlers left the cities in the east and travelled west, even to Idaho. The goal was to overcome the fear to create a better life. Of course, they carried with them many of the comforts they knew and improvised as they went along. Now we are faced with an element that finds faults without producing solutions. It is worth listing some of the benefits from petroleum which now seem taken for granted. The fault finders might even be enjoying them.
