Many helpful hands make project a success

| February 28, 2016 6:00 AM

A project started many years ago at our local hospital of giving to newborns and moms a black cloth baby bag filled with cold ice packs and baby formula, was a huge success. Once the company discontinued providing these bags, the BGH Auxiliary decided to take on the project.

Blankets, hats, booties and needed baby items went into bright pink and blue-colored bags for each mom. These items came from volunteer members who knitted and make crib-sized flannel blankets.
