Repent and learn to forgive others

| January 5, 2016 6:00 AM

In this joyous holiday season in which we celebrated the birth of our Lord and Savior, to those who sit in authority the story is brought to mind of our Lord Jesus, who as he was sitting one day, a group of people came to him bringing a woman to him for judgment. They said, “Lord, this woman was caught in the very act of adultery. Under the Law of Moses, her punishment is death, what do you say?” Jesus sat for a few minutes and began to write in the sand. Perhaps he was writing the sins of the people in the crowd. Finally, he looked up and said, “He among you who is without sin, let him cast the first stone.” Being convicted by his words, one by one, they dropped the stones in their hands and walked away.
