Community residents have hearts of gold

I believe this town should be called Goldpoint, as the community here has a heart of gold. In September, we put together a fundraiser for our daughter who needed to go through a major surgery to allow her to live life without the inevitable colon cancer. She will be in down time and unable to work for a very lengthy time. The fundraiser was a way to help with her cost of living and help with any out-of-pocket medical costs. It was a success in raising a portion of the needed funds and this was only possible because of our community that is caring, generous and truly have hearts of gold.
