P&Z changes are costly to taxpayers, morale

As a former Bonner County Planning and Zoning member, I would like to express my angst and concern regarding the recent upset in the county’s Planning and Zoning Department.

I know Clare Marley and Dan Carlson to be dedicated professionals with strong public service credentials. I fear they have been inappropriately maligned and somewhat publicly pilloried by our sitting commissioners. For all of us who know them personally and have worked with them professionally, this spectacle has been very unsettling and unpleasant.
