SANDPOINT — Sandpoint High School students learned about their inner voice and how it guides their lives from Sahar Paz, an author and public speaker, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Starting with a rap, Paz opens up about finding her voice and using it. Immediately she engaged the students by asking what they thought about a "white girl trying to rap." She wanted to know how the students judged her.

Paz said the judgmental voice in the students heads is the "inner bully" that may make a person not feel good enough. The message centered on how the inner voice and emotions has the power to create a life of self-acceptance and enjoyment.
