ORDINANCE NO. 1322 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANDPOINT, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF IDAHO, PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF AN APPROXIMATELY 32-ACRE PARCEL OF REAL PROPERTY AS HEREIN DESCRIBED; PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF THE SANDPOINT CITY CORPORATE BOUNDARIES; PROVIDING A LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPERTY; PROVIDING FOR NOTICE TO COUNTY TREASURER, ASSESSOR AND RECORDER AND STATE TAX COMMISSION; ADOPTING AN INITIAL ZONING DESIGNATION OF RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY "RS" FOR THE PROPERTY; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS The annexation of the parcel of land described hereinafter ("Property") meets the goals and objectives of the Sandpoint Comprehensive Plan; WHEREAS The Sandpoint Planning Commission held a Public Hearing on December 1, 2015 resulting in an affirmative vote to recommend annexation of the Property; WHEREAS The Sandpoint Planning Commission held a Public Hearing on December 1, 2015 resulting in an affirmative vote to recommend the initial zoning of the Property be designated Residence Single Family "RS"; WHEREAS Residence Single Family "RS" is consistent with the Sandpoint City Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS The property annexed is contiguous and adjacent to the current City of Sandpoint corporate boundaries and the property lies within the Area of City Impact for the City of Sandpoint. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANDPOINT, BONNER COUNTY, IDAHO SECTION 1. The territory lying within the following described legal description shall be and is hereby annexed into and incorporated within the corporate boundaries of the City of Sandpoint, Bonner County, Idaho, pursuant to Idaho Code 50-222 and Sandpoint City Code, Title 1, Chapter 11 The property is described as the West 1/2 of the SE 1/4 lying west of the Great Northern Railroad, less right-of-way, as well as the adjacent right of way of Baldy Road from the west boundary of this property extending east to the Sandpoint City Limits, all in Section 16, Township 57 North, Range 2 W.B.M. SECTION 2. The corporate boundaries of the City of Sandpoint and Sandpoint City Code 1-10-1 shall be and are hereby amended by the addition of the property described in Section 1. SECTION 3. The Sandpoint City Clerk shall provide notice of this Ordinance to the Bonner County Assessor, Treasurer, and Recorder, and to the Idaho State Tax Commission in the manner required by Idaho Code Sections 50-223 and 63-215. SECTION 4. The real property listed in Section 1 is hereby given a zoning designation of Residence Single Family "RS" as defined by City Code; and the Zoning Map of the City is hereby amended to reflect this change. SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force upon its passage, approval, and publication according to law. ORDINANCE NO. 276 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EAST HOPE, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF IDAHO, PROVIDING FOR ANNEXATION OF PROPERTY CONSISTING OF APPROXIMATELY 6.4 ACRES (5.9 AND 0.5 ACRES, RESPECTIVELY), LOCATED OFF CEDAR STREET; PROVIDING ZONING OF THE PROPERTY SO ANNEXED AS R-1 RESIDENTIAL; PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENT TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP; PROVIDING SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING REPEAL OF CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
