Bulldogs fifth at River City Duals

| January 19, 2016 6:00 AM

POST FALLS — Sophomore Tucker Hall (132 pounds) won all five matches by way of pin, Casey Randles (182) remained undefeated on the season with five convincing wins, and Owen Stebbins (170) also earned an undefeated shirt, leading the Bulldogs to a 5-1 record and a fifth place finish last weekend at the River City Duals at Post Falls High School.

The tourney completed a busy spate of wrestling with seven duals over a four-day stretch.

“Overall the kids wrestled well and responded nicely to a schedule that saw them compete for four consecutive days,” said Bulldogs head coach Mike Randles. “The emphasis, once again, was on attacking and scoring bonus points. The kids responded well for a third tournament, and Sandpoint ranked near the top in bonus points scored.”

Hall tied for the tournament lead with five pins, wrestling both smart and aggressively while spending just over 10 minutes total on the mat.
