Why did administrators get large bonuses?

Did you know that the top three administrators at the Lake Pend Oreille School District were given bonuses over the 2015 summer? The chief financial officer, Lisa Hals, accepted a bonus of $9,158. Assistant Superintendent Becky Meyers was granted $10,356, and Superintendent Shawn Woodward pocketed an extra $13,170. If you ask the district what goals were achieved above and beyond their job descriptions, the answer is “denied as that is a personnel matter.”
