Boudousquie leads Wampus Cats to first win of season
CLARK FORK — Hunter Boudousquie had a monster game for the Wampus Cats, posting a double-double with 23 points and 22 rebounds, leading Clark Fork to its first win of the season in a 71-46 dispatching of Mullan on Thursday night in North Star League boys basketball at Clark Fork High School.
“I told him to stay home and start rebounding and putting the ball back in, I wanted him to start getting stuff done,” said Cats head coach George Thornton of his high-jumping junior post. “He likes to go outside. I said ‘stop that, go for every rebound and put the ball up,’ and he did.”
Spencer Jeffres added 12 points, Wade Stevens eight points, six assists and five steals, Dylan Roper eight points, five boards and three steals, and Theo Icardo four points, four steals, three rebounds and three assists for the Wampus Cats (1-10, 1-3 NSL), who were more than happy to celebrate their first win.
