Amendment is about freedom, not guns

The Constitution of these United States and the Bible were written in common language and at a 12th grade level. They were written this way so that a competent reader would not require lawyers, political appointees or superior court judges to interpret the constitution; nor Pharisees to interpret the Bible. Thus, the beauty and brilliance of God guided men.
