SANDPOINT — Parking will remain at Farmin's Landing for now, City Administrator Jennifer Stapleton said. That was the only decision made during a city workshop on parking Jan. 13.

About 10 people attended the workshop, including personnel from Diamond Parking, the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce and the Sandpoint Business Improvement District. Stapleton said the workshop gathered ideas toward a long-term parking plan for 2017 once the city gets back downtown streets from Idaho Transportation Department, but also addressed some short-term issues, including Farmin's Landing parking, enforcement of violations and changes to the city contract with Diamond Parking.
