Maybe it's time for us to add a drawbridge

Three years ago, I wrote a letter to the Daily Bee advocating the installation of a drawbridge on the span of the Long Bridge. At the time, I proposed this in an effort to keep out all unwanted people to our area: at the time, mostly Californians. It went nowhere. As a result, we have who knows how many new people here, doing nothing but adding to the tax rolls and raising property values. Oh and their crazy ideas!
