Bulldog boys basketball camp on tap

| July 2, 2016 1:00 AM

SANDPOINT — Bulldog boys basketball head coach Kent Leiss and his assistant coaches and players will be hosting a four-day basketball camp on July 11-14, from 1-3 p.m. each day at Sandpoint High School for any and all area incoming 5th-8th grade boys.

Leiss, who boasts more than 25 years of head coaching experience, including stops at Flathead and Coeur d’Alene High Schools, is currently trying to build a program that can compete at the state level. The camp will give players a chance to not just learn and polish skills, but get an introduction to what Bulldog basketball is all about.

The cost of the camp is $25, with all proceeds going to fund the varsity program. Camp forms are now available at Dairy Depot on Hwy 2, and should be filled out and mailed to Kent Leiss at 410 S. Division St, Sandpoint, ID 83864. Players can also sign up before the start of the first day of camp.
