Report of a reckless vehicle in the 480000 block of Highway 95 at 11:32 a.m.

A marine deputy responded to a call on Lake Pend Oreille at 11:59 a.m.

Deputies responded to the Janish Drive area for a theft report at 5:57 p.m.

Ervin Frank Pettit Jr., 55, was arrested in the Dufort Road area in Sagle at 7:35 p.m. on charges of driving under the influence and driving with an open container of alcohol; and Jerry Lee Barnes Jr., 27, was arrested at the same time and location on charges o misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Report of a protection order violation in the Oldtown area on Highway 2 at 7:47 p.m.

Deputies assisted Priest River Police on Jachetta Road at 8:24 p.m.

Report of an agency assist in the area of Third and Warren in Newport, Wash., at 8:44 p.m.

A 911 hang-up was reported on Brittany Loop Road in Kootenai at 9:11 p.m.

A report of a sinking boat in the Bridge Street area was transferred to the county at 9:46 p.m.

Report of a suicide threat in the area of Highway 2 and West Johnson Creek Road at 9:55 p.m.

A 13-year-old female of Sandpoint, was arrested on a charge of battery in the 300 block of Park Lane after a reported family offense at 9:55 p.m.

Report of a civil dispute in the 100 block of Ranch Road in Sagle at 8:38 p.m.

Deputies responded to the Wrangler Road area for a citizen’s assist at 8:19 p.m.

Deputies responded to the 1000 block of W Spring Creek Road for a 911 hang-up at 8:05 p.m.

Report of an agency assist in the 200 block of Sixth Street in Priest River after a missing person was reported at 9:06 p.m.

Report of a 911 hang-up in the 5500 block of West Lakeshore Road. in Priest Lake at 11:24 p.m.

Deputies responded to the W. Pine Street area for a weapons offense at 11:52 p.m.

Deputies responded to the 473000 block of Highay 95 for a citizen’s assist after a reported juvenile problem at 11:30 p.m.

Report of a battery in the 3400 block of Reeder Bay Road in Nordman at 12:37 a.m.

Deputies responded to the 469000 block of Highway 95 in Sagle for a report of a reckless vehicle at 4:41 a.m.

SANDPOINT POLICE

June 26

An officer was unable to locate two dogs at large in the area of Forest and Pine at 8:48 a.m.

An officer advised that a report of a traffic signal malfunctioning at Boyer and Highway 2 at 10:19 a.m. was unfounded.

A K9 officer assisted the county on a traffic stop on Superior Street at 11:20 a.m.

A Sandpoint officer located a reportedly reckless driver for the county at 11:32 a.m. in the Highway 95 area.

Officers were unable to locate a possible drunken driver leaving City Beach at 6:05 p.m.

Subjects going door-to-door in the 300 block of Remington Court were advised at 6:34 p.m. to quit unless they obtained a permit from the city.

A 17-year-old Sandpoint male was cited on a charge of driving without privileges in the area of Fourth and Cedar at 8:48 p.m.

An officer answered a citizen’s questions in the 1400 block regarding door-to-door sales in the Northshore Drive area at 9:08 p.m.

A Sandpoint officer handled a non-injury, deer-versus-vehicle collision in the 475000 block of Highway 95 in Sagle for the county at 9:45 p.m.

Officers responded to a call in the Bridge Street area at 9:46 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate a speeding vehicle possibly headed into Sandpoint from the area of Highway 95 and Gun Club Road in Sagle at 4:41 a.m.

Michelle L. Umbaugh, 38, of Sandpoint was cited on a charge of petit theft in the 477000 block of Highway 95 at 5:04 p.m.

An officer responded to a report of a reckless driver in the area of highways 200 and 95 at 6:51 p.m.

An officer responded to a 911 hang-up in the 100 block of Brittany Loop Road at 9:11 p.m.
