The county commissioners will be changing the Bonner County land use code again on July 13. The changes involve subdivisions of land into 10 or fewer parcels.

Most of the changes involve making it simpler and less cumbersome to subdivide land, and the commissioners are to be applauded for that.

Another change will reduce the requirements for giving notice to neighboring landowners. Ultimately, some people will be surprised by their neighbors actions.

If that is of concern to you, let the commissioners know, or attend the public hearing on July 13 to voice your opinion.
