Emmett Adams, 10, carves a turn in one of the bowls at the Concrete Lake skate park this week. The popular 5,000 square feet park was built in 2005 by the City of Sandpoint, turning a section of the Travers Park parking lot into a place for area youth to enjoy, and its been bustling with action since. Each fall, the park plays host to the King of the Kongcrete skate competition, with some amazing athletes putting on an aerial show.
