Youth group to host free event

SANDPOINT — The Lifesavers Youth Group is offering up a summertime treat Saturday, July 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The family friendly event, which is free of charge, will feature a dunk tank, a bouncy castle, a slip and slide, face painting, races, raffle prizes and a petting zoo. Free hot dogs are on the menu.

The Lifesavers are part of Sandpoint Christian Center, the "Jesus is Lord" church, at 1925 N. Boyer Ave.

The youth group geared the event toward children under the age of 13, but welcome the entire family, an organizer said.
