Students named to MSU honor rolls

Montana State University has announced its undergraduate honor rolls for spring semester 2016.

Students with a perfect 4.0 grade point average for the semester were named to the President’s Honor Roll. Students must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours to be on either list.

An asterisk follows the names of students named to the MSU President’s Honor Roll in the listing below. The Dean’s Honor Roll includes students earning grade point averages of 3.5 or above for the semester.

Several Bonner County students were named to MSU’s president’s or dean’s lists. They are:

• Cocolalla — Luz Chase Bayless

• Sandpoint — Luke Brandenberger *, Oliver Carvalho *, Jared Cooper, Elizabeth Kovalchuk, Kenneth Kovalchuk, and Andrew Meyer

WSU announces honor roll students

Washington State University has announced students who have been named to the president’s honor roll for the 2015 spring semester.

The president’s honor roll recognizes students who stand above the rest with excellent academic performance. To be eligible for the honor roll, undergraduate students must be enrolled in a minimum of nine graded hours in a single term at WSU and earn a grade point average of 3.75 or earn a 3.50 cumulative GPA based on 15 cumulative hours of graded work.

Students from Bonner and Boundary County who earned the honor include:

• Bonners Ferry — Kimberly Megan Kramer

• Sandpoint — Mohsen William Brown, Whitney Christine Kirkby, and Margaux Anne McBirney.

Andrews earns

NNU honors

Northwest Nazarene University announces that 687 students have been named to the dean’s list for the 2016 spring semester. To be eligible for the academic honor, a student must earn a 3.5 grade-point average while taking at least 12 graded credit hours of classes at the undergraduate level or six graded credit hours at the graduate level.

NNU’s Dean’s List includes students from 25 states and seven foreign countries. Among those who earned a spot on the list was Lindsey Andrews of Sandpoint.

Northwest Nazarene University, a comprehensive Christian university, offers over 60 areas of study, 18 master’s degrees in seven different disciplines and two doctoral degrees. Founded in 1913, the university now serves over 2,000 undergraduate and graduate students, more than 6,000 continuing education students, and 2,300 high school students through the concurrent credit program.
