Yoke’s to acquire four Inland Northwest stores

Yoke’s Foods, Inc. announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Bonner Foods, Inc., dba Trading Company Stores, to acquire Trading Company’s Post Falls, Spokane Valley, Latah and Cheney store locations. The acquisition is expected to be completed in September.

“Yoke’s has been proud to call the Inland Northwest home since 1946,” said John Bole, president and CEO of Yoke’s, “We look forward to bringing Yoke’s unique offerings to the communities served by the Trading Company stores.”

Trading Company employees will have an opportunity to apply for positions with Yoke’s. The first of two large career events this summer will be held today, July 13 at the Liberty Lake store. Yoke’s regularly recruits store associates through these career events.

Headquartered in Spokane Valley, Wash., Yoke’s Foods, Inc. is an employee-owned company with locations in North Idaho, including Ponderay, as well as eastern and central Washington. Once acquired, the Trading Company locations will bring Yoke’s total number of stores to 17.
