NAMI Far North meeting planned

SANDPOINT — Misty Robertson, chief nursing officer at Bonner General Health, will speak Wednesday, July 20, at the NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Far North meeting.

The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the old Bonner General Health classroom, 520 N. Third Ave., about the medical system and mental health. Robertson will have information about how the medical system in Idaho addresses mental health, and how state laws apply for the individual.

Afterward, support groups will meet — one for those with mental illness, and one for those who care about them.
