Former teacher hosts get-together

SANDPOINT — With his 60th reunion coming up next week, former Sandpoint High School graduate and teacher Chuck Heath is hoping to connect with not only former classmates but his former students as well.

While he moved to Alaska some 50 years ago, Heath said some of my best friends and fondest memories were made in Sandpoint. When plans were made for the class of 1956’s 60th reunion July 22-24, Heath and his wife, Sally, made arrangements for a casual gathering at the Elks Club on Saturday, July 23, so he could visit with former students.

Heath invited students from the classes of 1966 and 1967 who will be in town to stop by the Elks and catch up.
