Freedom is not about guns, it’s a way of life, a way of thinking and a tolerance of people whose beliefs are not the same as yours. If I can only be free if I believe as you do, then I am not free.

I am a gun owner many times over and I believe strongly that I have a right to own a gun but that ownership has responsibilities with it. I do not chose to own a military style weapon, I feel they were designed for one purpose, to shoot as many rounds as possible as fast as possible and to kill as many people as possible. I prefer to shoot as few rounds as possible and hit my target as many times as needed.

I don’t live in fear of the government or a particular religious sect because of a few radicals who chose to hide behind and distort their religions views.

I do not believe we can continue to invade countries, kill its citizens as we choose, use its resources as we choose and then say we are giving them freedom. We create terrorists for the world.

I do not choose to, fly the confederate flag, believe that public lands should be privately owned, believe that big profit minded business built this country, or fear government programs helping the poor or needy.

I believe our veterans deserve our respect and assistance for a better life. We need to hold business and government accountable for their mistakes. People’s health and lives are more important than profits.

You can never learn anything new if you only talk with people who agree with you.
