Alberta May Ruge, 89

| July 19, 2016 1:00 AM

Born Jan. 23, 1927, Alberta May Ruge, a godly, prayerful woman died on July 2, 2016.

She is survived by nine of her 10 children, Dave (Doris) Ruge, Carol Nunnenkamp, Joyce Woolsey, Steve ( Kim) Ruge, Dawn (Brian) Hoseth, Kim (Chuck) Wright,Tammie Katapol, Bill (Maureen) Ruge and Todd Ruge, and son-in-law Gordon Wolf. Their families gave her 30 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Alberta’s faith in God was consistent through out her life as was her passion for others to know about Jesus. Alberta raised 10 children, traveled around the world and worked at kids camps in Montana, Michigan and Alaska. She prayed daily for an extensive list of missionaries, family members, friends and their families and people all around the world she would never meet.

One night she couldn’t sleep, and when asked if she needed anything she answered, “I am just thinking about how blessed I am, to have all those children and grandchildren and all the people who have encouraged me and them to follow the Lord.” She died peacefully at age 89 and is now with the love of her life, Jesus Christ.

If she were here, she would tell you that she loves you, then she would say, “But Jesus loves you more.”

A memorial service for Alberta will be held at 6:30 p.m., July 21, at Cabinet Mountain Calvary Chapel of Clark Fork Idaho. All are welcome.

Instead of flowers, or gifts, Alberta requested that donations be given to Rob and Tianne Varicak, missionaries to South Sudan.
