Dance under the stars on Saturday

SANDPOINT — Trip the light fantastic this Saturday evening as the Sandpoint Chapter of USA Dance and the Parks and Recreation Department partner for a summer soiree at the City Beach Pavilion.

An all-ages event, the free dance party will include salsa, two-step, swing dancing and more from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Potluck fare is on the menu, and those who plan to partake should bring a dish to share. Beverages are restricted to non-alcoholic drinks. Organizers recommend bringing folding chairs for those times someone sits one out.

USA Dance is a national non-profit organization encouraging self-expression through social and competitive ballroom dancing.
