Michael Allen Norton, 61

Michael Allen Norton, 61, resident of Clark Fork, Idaho, passed away at Kootenai Health on Monday, July 18, 2016. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 22, 2016, at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Sandpoint.

Mike was born on June 10, 1955, in Houston, Texas, to Lamar and Tempie Norton. He grew up and attended schools in Brunswick, Ga. After graduating from high school, Mike served his country in the United States Navy.

Mike was very social and never met a stranger. He was quick to make everyone a friend with his outgoing and good natured humor. He worked in sales for many years before going in to business for himself as the owner of C.J. Cab Co. in Brunswick.

Mike married Deborah Luvin on June 11, 2009, and she joined him at his home in Brunswick, GA. In 2011 they moved to Clark Fork and Mike resumed working in sales at Sandpoint Motorsports.

He enjoyed riding Harley’s and when he moved to Clark Fork he found the same enjoyment in ATVs. He also enjoyed golfing.

He was preceded in death by his father Lamar and mother Tempie Norton. He is survived by his wife Deborah Norton of Clark Fork, step daughter Spirit Marley of Spokane and step son Jason and his wife Sara Bumpass.
