Sara Marie Brunsell, 98

Sara Marie Brunsell, 98, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Private family services have been held.

Sara was born on March 15, 1918, the youngest of seven, in Pittsburgh, Pa., to Stan and Alexandra Murcheski. She grew up and attended schools in Roulette, Pa. After graduating high school, she attended two years of college.

Sara married Frank Fitz-gerald, they lived in Southern Cali-fornia and raised a daughter, Mary. Sara worked in La Mesa Drug Store. She also helped open several other drug stores and train their staff. After Frank passed away Sara moved to Sandpoint in 1975, where she married Weston Brunsell in 1978.

She enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening and canning, but most of all her grandchildren Hannah Boxleitner, Ben Ammar, Katie Jannsen and Sarah Kalben.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Bill) Ammar of Sandpoint; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Frank Fitzgerald and Weston Brunsell, and six siblings.
