Strikers July Camp starts on Monday

SANDPOINT — Any and all area youth soccer players are invited to attend the Strikers July Camp on July 25-28, from 9-11 a.m. each day at Farmin-Stidwell Field.

The four-day skills camp will be run by Strikers Director of Coaching Rick Mullins and local goalie coach Alan Brinkmeier. The camp’s main focus will be on scoring goals, and also stopping them for the goalies in the group, and to help prepare the players for the upcoming fall season.

Registration forms are available at Sandpoint Sports in Ponderay, and there will be no late charges, so players can sign up anytime before the start of the first session on Monday.

The camp is open to all U8-U15 players, whether club or rec league participants, who will be separated into groups by age. More than 30 have already signed up, and there is plenty of room for more.
