The 7B Women, a committee of the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce, invite you to attend their August luncheon on Tuesday, Aug. 2 at Tango Café in the Columbia Bank Center. The luncheon will begin at 11:45 a.m.

The theme of this month’s luncheon is Advocating for Your Own Health and Wellness. The luncheon will open with a presentation by Barbara Schriber, co-owner of Selle Valley Construction, who will speak briefly on an upcoming bicycle ride to help raise awareness and funds for Multiple Sclerosis. Following Schriber’s talk, there will be a presentation by Kelly Greenway, BA.NTP, of Pend Oreille Chiropractic. Greenway completed the Nutritional Therapist Training program in 2005. She comes from a holistic perspective with an emphasis towards ancestral diets. Greenway consults one-on-one in person, online or on the phone. She also conducts group weight loss and detox programs. Greenway uses functional neurological testing, symptom burden analysis and functional blood chemistry analysis to determine bio-individual nutritional protocols for each patient.

“The information that will be presented is sure to benefit everyone in attendance,” said 7B Women Vice Chair, Patty Hutchens. “And for those biking enthusiasts who want to help a good cause, it will be a great opportunity to learn about the ride that will benefit MS.”

The luncheon is open to everyone in the community, both men and women. The cost is $20 or $15 for chamber members. Pre-registration is highly encouraged. The luncheon takes place at Tango Café in the Columbia Bank Building from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.

If people would like an opportunity to promote their business at the luncheon, they are asked to bring an item to raffle and will be given a “minute with the mic” at the conclusion of the luncheon.
