Softball a family affair for the Fourniers Candice Fournier takes a cut during Sandpoint City Coed softball action this week at Travers Park, playing for the aptly sponsored Fournier Construction team. Pretty much anywhere the opposing team hit the ball, the odds were good it would land in the mitt of a player with the last name of Fournier, including Brandon, J Paul, Gerald, Clayton and Claire. All told, seven members from the longtime Sandpoint family were playing in the game, enjoying a fun summer pastime together on a sun-soaked evening. —Photo by ERIC PLUMMER
