Group is hosting special book sale

SANDPOINT — It’s a special event Saturday as the Friends of the East Bonner County Library is holding its monthly book sale from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Instead of just one spot, the sale will be utilizing two venues: inside the library and inside the garage of the newly-purchased, two-story structure just west of the library. Inside the library, the sale will feature cook books, art books, coffee table books and westerns. The many books to be sold in the garage are available to you due to generosity of the owners of the now-closed Common Knowledge book store.

Because of the very large number of books in the garage, we will be selling by the box, not by individual volumes. The boxes will be priced between $1 and $5, depending on the box’s size. The sale of these books represents a huge savings because of the quantity and in many cases the quality of books in the boxes.
