SANDPOINT — A trial date is set for a Washington state woman accused of leaving 7-month old child alone in a Sandpoint motel room.

Paisha Cree Anderson’s jury trial on a misdemeanor child endangerment charge is scheduled for June 30 in Bonner County Magistrate Court.

Anderson, 25, is accused of leaving her child unattended at the Quality Inn on Fifth Avenue in the early-morning hours of Feb. 24.

Accounts of how long the child was left alone vary, according to court documents. Anderson estimated she was outside the room for approximately 15 minutes, while guests of the hotel reported that the child cried hysterically for one to two hours, a Sandpoint Police report indicates.

Anderson, a Spokane Valley resident, said she left the child to drive a friend home from the bar, the report said.
