—Photo by ERIC PLUMMER Local artist and musician Beth Pederson stands with Sandpoint runner Mike Ehredt after Pederson finished making the mural that Ehredt used during Project America Run III. The mural, which depicts all three of his runs to date, was drilled with 300 holes, as Ehredt would run a mile and place the flag of a fallen U.S. Soldier in the board. Pederson said she was just honored to be a part of the hometown event. Ehredt is hoping the mural, which now has 300 flags in it, will eventually find a permanent home somewhere in Sandpoint for public viewing.
