In regards to a recent polemic letter with Dan McDonald as its subject, Lewis Rich was offered equal on-air radio time on March 22, but was a no-show every week up until May 6. During that show Bob announced they would keep the phone lines closed to talk about Rich’s campaign. Rich proceeded to blame other commissioners (who could not call in due to closed lines) for issues that Rich actually bore responsibility for as he was in office during the planning stages of the projects mentioned.

The next week Dan invited in the commissioner that Rich had blamed at least 10 times, but he did not close down the phone lines. Dan kept the content to be in answer to what was stated the previous week.

Dan debated Rich at forums many times and the voters made their choice in a resounding fashion. Hopefully the sore losers and their fans will cease living up to their reputations.
