The latest local candidate to shy his hat into the ring is Robert Coons, who seeks the nomination for county treasurer at the hands of the republican party. Mr. Coons is a man not only worthy the endorsement of anything he asks of his party, but is eminently qualified to fill the position he seeks. He came here 17 years ago, for several years in the position of N.P. station agent, and since has been engaged in the drug business. He enjoys the confidence of all and will have strong support.
