Beach volleyball clinics coming up at City Beach

SANDPOINT — Looking to stay sharp over the summer, while playing a fun game? Whether you need to up your sand volleyball game, or just want to brush up on your skills, Sandpoint Parks and Rec is offering Sand Volleyball Clinics for ages 8 years-old and up.

Learn tips and strategies to help you move, set, dig and become a better all-around player in the sand. Clinics will take place on Wednesdays at the City Beach Sand Volleyball Courts, from 6-7:30 p.m. from June 15 through July 13. The class fee is $65 for all six weeks ($5 city discount) or drop in any day for $12/day.

The three volleyball courts at City Beach are busy much of the time, as beach volleyball, an immensely popular sport in the 1980s, seems to be making a comeback.
