Tiny Hawk and Mini Hawk sports camps on tap

SANDPOINT — Looking for some fun summer camps for your kids?

Sandpoint Parks and Rec is partnering with Skyhawks to offer the Tiny Hawk Soccer Camp for kids ages 3–4 years-old. Camp is scheduled to take place on June 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24, from 8-8:45 p.m. each day at Travers Park.

The Tiny Hawk Soccer Camp is designed specifically for pre-school aged kids. It will introduce the essentials of soccer through games and activities, balance exploration, hand/eye coordination and skill development. Participants must be toilet trained in order to participate.

The class fee is $59, and the registration deadline is June 10, so act quickly to guarantee your spot. Register at 1123 Lake St.

For the slightly older kids, the Mini Hawk camp teaches soccer, baseball and basketball, and is open to all kids ages 4-7 years-old.

The clinic will take place June 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 at Travers Park, from 9 a.m. to noon each day. The Mini Hawk Clinic will introduce young children to three sports, providing a fun first step into athletics. Through games and activities, participants will explore balance, hand/eye coordination and skill development at their own pace.

The class fee is $119, and the registration deadline is June 10. Pre-register at Sandpoint Parks and Rec.
