Rumore to speak at NAMI meeting

SANDPOINT — Dante Rumore, clinical social worker serving the nation’s combat veterans, will speak on Wednesday, June 15, at the NAMI Far North meeting.
The National Alliance on Mental Illness meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the old Bonner General Health classroom, 520 N. Third Ave. Following, support groups will meet.
Rumore, a Marine veteran, is a therapist at the Spokane Vet Center, and on Thursdays at the VFW Hall in Sandpoint. He hosts a local combat veterans group, a support group for spouses of combat veterans, supports a veteran fly fishing program, and an acupuncture program.
